Vici Gaming Esports Team

Vici Gaming is a Chinese esports organization offering teams in Dota 2, League of Legends, StarCraft II Warcraft III FIFA Hearthstone CS:GO and other titles.

They have an impressive track record in premier tournaments, such as finishing runners-up at The International 2014. Unfortunately, however, they missed last chance qualifiers in 2022 and are in search of new talent to join their squad.

Founded in October 2012

Vici Gaming-Esports Team was established in China in October 2012. Their teams currently compete in Dota 2, League of Legends, StarCraft II Warcraft III Counter Strike Global Offensive Hearthstone Heroes of Warcraft and FIFA.

Dota 2 players on their Dota 2 roster placed second at The International 2014 and fourth at TI5, taking first at several Major tournaments as a result of that performance. On LoL’s side of things, their Chinese LoL team won various tournaments including LPL 2020 Spring Playoffs tournament.

Dota team players come from around the globe. With a loyal fan base and estimated valuation of $35 Million, their estimated valuation in 2019 is expected to surpass that of any other gaming organization.

Esports has experienced explosive growth over recent years, drawing millions of spectators every match and contributing to many teams seeing their valuations skyrocket in value over time.

Founded by Fengdidi

Vici Gaming was established in October 2012 with the assistance of “Fengdidi”, who also previously competed under the name of PanPan in PanDarea gaming. Fengdidi recruited talented DotA players ranked highly on Chinese DotA ladder at that time to form Vici.

VG is best-known for their Dota 2 performances in DSL and ESWC tournaments, where they’ve become regular fixture in recent years. Furthermore, VG have won multiple premier tournaments since joining both circuits.

VG boasts an impressive roster featuring many of China’s premier Dota 2 players, having become a household name among esports enthusiasts over time. 2015 marked their rise even further by winning major events like Dota 2 Asian Championships (DMAC) and Starladder XIII Season 4 Grand Finals; moreover they currently hold offices in Shanghai, China where their operations cover Dota 2, League of Legends, StarCraft II WarCraft III FIFA Counter Strike: Global Offensive among others.

Recruited players from PanDarea Gaming

Vici Gaming Esports Team, located in China, boasts teams competing in Dota 2, League of Legends, StarCraft II: WarCraft III vs FIFA 17 as well as Hearthstone.

In 2012, VG was founded by Fengdidi who previously competed under the moniker of “PanPan.” To form their team they recruited talented DotA players that were highly ranked on Chinese DotA ladder.

Vici traveled to Poland for the Raidcall EMS Fall LAN finals, joining teams like Alliance, Natus Vincere, and DK in pioneering east-west tournament participation. While Vici took first place at EMS One Fall tournament, their dominance in Dota 2 soon faded due to lack of direction and poor player performances.

In March 2015, they implemented several roster changes, such as creating Vici Gaming Potential (VG.P), an elite youth squad consisting of promising young Chinese players that excelled at premier tournaments.

Recruited players from PanPan

Vici Gaming was established in October 2012 with the assistance of “Fengdidi”, previously playing under PanDarea Gaming as “PanPan.” Vici Gaming recruited highly-skilled DotA players with top rankings on Chinese DotA ladder at that time.

Vici Gaming quickly established themselves as one of the premier tournament teams during their inaugural year, featuring Black as their carry and Iceiceice as offlane playmaker. Both of these acquisitions made an immediate impression.

In February 2015, they reached the finals of Dota 2 Asia Championships – another large tournament outside The International – but their performance wasn’t up to par, losing to Evil Geniuses 0-3 in the grand finals.

Vici Gaming- Esports Team is no stranger to the pro scene and boasts an excellent Dota 2 track record. Recently, they acquired two veteran Dota 2 players Xu “fy” Linsen from Invictus Gaming and Gao “Setsu” Zhenxiong of Royal Never Give Up in order to bolster Vici Gaming- Esports Team into premier tier status for this season.
