Chinese microblogging and social media platform Weibo has taken steps to strengthen its presence in China by purchasing one League of Legends LPL slot from Suning Gaming. Along with acquiring Suning’s roster, they also re-signed Taiwanese support player Hu “SwordArt” Shuo-Chieh who previously competed on Suning.
