LGD Gaming’s chances to advance in the League of Legends World Championship will depend heavily on how they fare against PSG Talon in the Play-In stage, so Paris Saint-Germain may use their partnership agreement with them against LGD Gaming as leverage against them and use this matchup against LGD Gaming as leverage against them causing them to lose against PSG Talon.
Rainbow7
Rainbow7 made waves by upstaging LPL team LGD Gaming to advance from the play-in stage of the 2020 League of Legends World Championship and claim victory. Some analysts questioned their chances, given how quickly LGD Gaming began their run through.
LGD started off their match evenly matched in teamfights during the early game, however R7 mid laner Aloned displayed impressive Orianna skills that led to multiple picks across the map and eventually, they forced a three kill team fight in the jungle that ended up producing Baron Nashor as their prize.
After winning two-for-one in their third team fight, they secured their Nexus and began sieging of the base, eventually storming through and taking it.
Rainbow7 now stands a chance of securing a tiebreaker before elimination rounds begin, and still have an opportunity to enter bracket stage by defeating V3 Esports on Sunday.
