Currenty, they are in the process of disbanding and have parted ways with all staff except Adam Stein who remains as CEO.

Esports industry players are finding it challenging to adjust to numerous external factors, including cryptocurrency winter and decreased brand ad spend, with smaller teams experiencing revenue decreases as a result.

PUBG

Player Unknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG), is an extremely popular multiplayer battle royale video game available across various platforms. This competitive experience provides gamers of all skill levels a truly enjoyable gaming experience.

Although PUBG shares similarities with other battle royale games, it stands out with its own set of unique characteristics. No re-spawn exists and players must remain alive until eliminated by other players.

Players enter an environment which presents them with high risks and danger, whether alone, duo or as part of a team. It provides an engaging and challenging experience which some find addictive.

PUBG features in-game communication tools like text chat and proximity voice for player interactions within the game. Text chat enables friends on Xbox Live or Steam to communicate, while proximity voice enables all players in PUBG to hear one another talk in real-time.

Rocket League

Rocket League is an engaging mix of soccer and cars developed and published by Psyonix in 2015. Now available across multiple platforms – PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC are just some of them – it promises hours of enjoyable playback.

The game is a vehicle-based multiplayer game typically played online; however, you can also enjoy local or multiplayer matches locally. Here, players use rocket-powered vehicles to hit balls into each opponent’s goal and score points over time during a match.

Are you in search of an incredible multiplayer game to enjoy with friends? Look no further than Rocket League; it provides endless gaming possibilities and is extremely popular among gamers of all ages.

Rocket League may not have as wide of an appeal in esports as Dota 2 and LoL, but its player base continues to expand rapidly. Unfortunately, its tournament prize pool falls significantly behind those two games.

Gears of War

Gears of War is an action-adventure series set in a post-apocalyptic world. Players take control of members of the Coalition of Ordered Governments (COG), charged with leading expeditions into Sera to combat Locust Horde attacks.

In third-person view, players utilize cover to stay safe while moving towards an enemy target. A Lancer Assault Rifle features an attached chainsaw bayonet for close range melee damage.

The game offers multiple multiplayer modes, such as “Horde”, which challenges up to five players against waves of Locust forces. Furthermore, an “Escape” mode aims to enable three players to escape from a hive.

Halo

Halo is a first-person shooter (FPS) game developed by Bungie and Microsoft that stars the legendary Master Chief as its protagonist – a scientist turned super soldier or Spartan.

Halo allows players to assume the role of Master Chief as they fight for survival across various planets and forces, learning more about The Covenant (an alien faction seeking to destroy our universe) along the way.

Halo started out as an RTS title but has since developed into the immersive FPS we know today. Additionally, spinoff titles like Halo Wars and Spartan Strike exist within this franchise.

The original game in the series was one of the most beloved titles ever released on PlayStation 4, yet its critical reviews and fan interest has significantly declined over time. As such, it currently ranks one of the lowest rated FPS titles on PlayStation 4.
