CS:GO

CS:GO is a tactical first-person shooter available across all major consoles and computers from Valve and Hidden Path Entertainment, developed for team play.

Players in CS:GO are divided into terrorists and counter-terrorists (CTs). Terrorists spawn with weapons and can place bombs at one of two bomb sites; CTs then kill or defuse these bombs to earn money in return.

CS:GO offers more than standard matchmaking; there are several competitive queues. One such queue is Bomb Defusal, in which each round is broken into three parts.

At the start of a round, all players receive an initial sum of money that must be used wisely in order to purchase weapons, armor and grenades.

CS:GO stands out from other first-person shooters by featuring an in-game economy. This allows for much more strategic play as players must carefully manage their funds when upgrading weapons or improving gameplay overall. Furthermore, this system makes leveling up easier while improving game play overall.

Overwatch players are organized into two teams of six players each, each equipped with its own roster of characters. They battle against one another across various maps and game types in a best-of-five series for supremacy.

Games offered through Uplay are free-to-play, but players may purchase optional loot boxes to gain access to cosmetic items and skins. There are also seasonal events where players can unlock more goodies!

Undoubtedly, Overwatch is a fun game to play; however, its complexity may be daunting for newcomers.

As it can be easy to become caught up in the excitement of battle and lose track of making strategic decisions for success, players may make costly errors. Luckily, Overwatch League provides excellent resources that can help players better comprehend the game.

Heroes of the Storm

Heroes of the Storm is an online multiplayer arena game created and published by Blizzard that offers characters from Warcraft, Diablo, StarCraft and Overwatch as playable heroes.

Players take control of a powerful Hero with unique Abilities and work collaboratively with teammates to attack and destroy an opposing team’s Core. It has quickly become one of the world’s most beloved competitive video games.

Heroes of the Storm has found success despite its limited mainstream appeal, although other MOBAs such as DOTA 2 and League of Legends enjoy greater mainstream recognition due to an engaging single-player storyline.

However, while this has been beneficial to the game’s developers, its community hasn’t seen as much growth. Blizzard recently pulled its support of competitions related to Heroes of the Storm like HGC or other tournaments as evidence of this fact.
